Born in Livonia, Michigan, Woodward graduated from Livonia Stevenson High School in 2002. That same year, she graduated from Livonia Career Technical Center, a local vocational school, as a medical assistant. Her stage name derives from Woodward Avenue in Detroit, Michigan.
She initially got into the adult industry by appearing in photos that appeared on amateur sites on the Internet.
